External Graduate Program Review 2026

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) organized an External Graduate Program Review (GPR) Visit on April 27, 2026, in accordance with the Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) criteria. Prof. Dr. Bushra Yasmin, Director QEC, initiated the visit with a comprehensive presentation outlining the objectives of the review and highlighting QEC’s progress over time in strengthening quality assurance practices. The External Review members were: Dr. Salman Hassan Khan, Director, QEC, Air University and Ms. Mehreen Ishtiaq, Assistant Director, Air University.
The visit included an in-depth evaluation of postgraduate programs, where the review panel conducted detailed assessments through meetings with Heads of Departments and Office Incharges. The panel examined program strengths and areas for improvement, providing constructive guidance to enhance academic processes and documentation.
The visit concluded with an exit meeting of review panel with the Vice Chancellor, FJWU, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (PoP, TI), during which key findings and recommendations were shared. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the dedicated efforts of the QEC team in continuously advancing quality standards and contributing to the university’s improved performance and rankings. She reaffirmed the university’s commitment to addressing the panel’s recommendations and further strengthening academic processes.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and shield distribution ceremony by the Vice Chancellor, marking the successful completion of the review visit.
This initiative reflects FJWU’s continued commitment to academic excellence, quality enhancement, and alignment with national and international standards.
