Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) is a leading public sector women university in Pakistan. Since its inception, quality of teaching learning process has been given the paramount significance and the University has become a staunch believer in innovation and the concept of quality assurance in its all practices.

Quality Enhancement Cell was established at campus in 2007 to assimilate the notion of quality in the higher learning systems and to develop practical guidelines and policies for enriching the standard of learning and research by establishing a sustainable quality assurance mechanism.The Quality Enhancement Cell at FJWU is working as focal point for quality assurance policy and practices. The QEC at FJWU develops and implements quality assurance system to formalize and standardize the academic and administrative processes that are in line with the guidelines of Quality Assurance Agency of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It is striving to meet international academic standards and practices by improving internal processes for quality assurance for academic excellence.
