The&nbsp;<strong>vision of the  university is to aspire and innovate for a sustainable future by promoting  higher education, research, collaboration and community engagement to achieve  societal empowerment<\/strong>. The University is consolidating and advancing its  academic achievements, research productivity and community impact by focusing  on Sustainable Development Goals. A large number of courses offered at the  university under different programs and the research carried out by faculty  members and students in varied fields cater to addressing and achieving  sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n<p>The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking is a global  ranking that assesses participating universities\u2019 impact on society in line  with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). <\/p>\n<p>In this regard, the university participated in&nbsp;<strong>Times  Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022<\/strong>, and has been&nbsp;<strong>ranked<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>801  among top 1000 world universities<\/strong>, out of a total of 1,406<br \/>\n  Universities from 106 countries\/regions, which applied for  Impact Ranking.
