First Meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) at FJWU
The first meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) was held on December 16, 2024, at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (Pride of Performance, T.I) and led by Director QEC, Prof. Dr. Bushra Yasmin. IQC has been established under the Pakistan Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PSG-2023) to streamline and strengthen institutional quality mechanisms.
The meeting featured key developments, including the approval of Terms of Reference (ToRs), launch of the RIPE and PREE frameworks for institutional and program-level review, and the presentation of the first QA Policy Manual. Discussions also covered postgraduate program assessment visits, international rankings strategy, and the launch of SCALE (Student Council for Academic Learning and Enhancement) to boost student engagement in quality processes.
This milestone event reflects FJWU’s commitment to academic excellence, operational transparency, and a globally competitive education system through an integrated approach to quality assurance.
